Accommodation letter must be given to each instructor, each semester.
Accommodations only become effective when the student provides the instructor with an accommodation letter.

The Office of 残疾人服务 is obligated to maintain a student’s confidentiality and the information provided as documentation of a disability. 残疾问题 information is treated as medical information and handled under the same strict rules of confidentiality as other medical or student information and in accordance with 适用的法律. 学生 information is collected and kept in secure files with limited 访问.

学生s are responsible for supplying the appropriate documentation of a disability to the Disability Coordinator before receiving accommodations or services. 学生的 self-report is considered a source of valuable information, so it is very important that the student takes the time to openly and honestly discuss the disability with 协调器.

学生-veterans and those currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible for services, including counseling referrals and referrals for veteran services offered 在该地区.

A service animal is a dog that has been trained to perform a specific task to help a person with a disability.

Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are permitted in Seahawk着陆 with approval from the Office for 残疾人服务 (ODS). An ESA provides comfort or emotional support for someone with a mental health condition or emotional disorder.
